In February 2014, Central South Distribution, Inc. announced that they were seeking five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) in damages from producer/media executives Holly Carter and Jeff Clanagan for the alleged breach of contract with the company relating to the distribution of albums. Case 6th NO. 14C483 has now been dismissed.
“Central South Distribution has decided to go in another direction. The presiding judge has formally dismissed this case and Holly Carter has scored a victory.” states Christopher Brown, Esq of Brown & Rosen LLC, National Counsel to Holly Carter.
Carter, a media producer, industry executive and music manager states the following, “I respect the Central South team but have always been confident that the lawsuit was without merit. I am pleased that the case has been dismissed and wish them well. All things work together for those who are called according to purpose. ” states Carter.
